As part of our imaging and styling project, we were given garments from the fashion design students to style and photograph as we wished. My piece was made up of a structured jacket with pointed shoulders, silk hareem fitted pants and a silk vest top. The outfit had a very earthy and mysterious feel to it with the colour scheme being red, brown and beige. After researching into possible theme's and ideas, i came up with the idea to base the shoot around 'The Forest' with pixie like poses and mythical thoughts. I choose a slightly messy hairstyle with backcombed pigtails to give it that disheveled edge, and kept the make-up natural using pinks, browns and bronzes to match the colour's of the clothing, with hints of gold dust here and there.
