Final year - Lola's life make up features

The make - up articles that i included were based around playful make - up ideas were young girls can experiment without taking themselves to seriously. The Wah nails feature was an interesting article on an cool nail bar in London that do funky nail designs suited to any pattern or design you wish. As you notice again my layouts are soft and fun with jagged lines and block colours, and my illustration has a immature and simplified look.

Final year - Lola's life photoshoot

This was the photoshoot fashion story which i featured on my website. It becomes accessible through the mirror which relates to the Alice in Wonderland theme of the shoot. it was based around this and also based around the fact that it was prom season the time my website went live, where many young girls would be looking for inspiration for dresses and looks. I featured several dressed within the shoot the main one being the 'Queen of hearts' pink puffball dress. I wanted to keep it playful with natural poses and not to mature and glamourous. I like the tea party elements of the shoot and think the cupcake and candy colours work really well with the rest of my website.

Final year - Lola's life celebrity style

An important element of Lola's life is the young celebrity icon inspiration which i think gives girls someone to relate to in terms of both lifestyle and fashion. I chose to feature Whitney Port, Pixie Lott and Alexa Chung who are all modern and well known trend setters.

Final year - Lola's life trend pages

Also featured in the wardrobe is the 'S/S trends' which contains four main trend pages on the hottest spring/summer trends. These will be updated regularly but are supposed to help young users in wear and how to wear this seasons trends at affordable prices. The four main trends i have included are,  'Barely there', 'Spot on', 'Attention' and 'I'll bring you flowers'.

Final year - Lola's life wardrobe

After navigating inside the wardrobe, the user can click on a number of hangers which lead different features on fashion. 'Just another day'  is about the best outfit's Lola has worn that week and where she wore them. This feature adds a blogging element to it, where bloggers update outfits they are wearing on a daily basis giving users there fix. I have included where the outfit was from and how Lola wore it so that users can gain inspiration.

Final year - Lola's life Interviews

The above images are the two interviews that i carried out for my launch website. The above image of the laptop is the screen which links them together and is where users can discover the interviews. The idea is that they are featured within Lola's inbox as if she had been interviewing them via e-mail, which is what i did.

The interviews were with blogger Susie Bubble and illustrator Niki Pilkington, who actually produced an illustration of 'Lola'. I think that by interviewing people such as these, they are relative to the young girls who would visit Lola's life, and would be of interest to them.
